The physical therapists at ProAction Physical Therapy fabricate custom-made orthotics. Orthotics are ‘arch supports’ that fit into your shoe and help normalize the biomechanics of your feet. The foot is the foundation of the body and must be balanced to support the structures above it. If the biomechanics of the foot are altered, the function of the knees, hips, and spine will be affected, causing possible injury. Orthotics can be custom made for sneakers, dress shoes, dance shoes, and specific athletic shoes such as cleats and golf shoes. |
